That is to say he has fins here and there. His ears are finned, like a fish. Fins likewise grow from his arms, down his spine and along the backside of his calves like the fins on a lionfish, which he often keeps flat but tends to spread out when alarmed. He has a ray-like tail, complete with barb, and this too has lionfish-like fins along the end. Across most of his body are delicate scales, mostly of tealish blue but also in bold swirling patterns of yellow and orange; most of the time these are hidden by clothing. His hands and feet are partly webbed, and his fingers are tipped with short retracting claws. He has functional gills along his ribs. He frequently wears long pants, sturdy shoes and long-sleeved clothing to hide as many of his abnormal traits as he possibly can but many aren't too easy to hide.
